Recruitment Process

Throughout Theta’s recruitment process, there are many opportunities to learn about the organization and for us to learn more about you. All potential members are highly encouraged to attend at least two interest sessions ("Think" sessions below) and attend a one-on-one casual conversation with a representative from Theta.

To be eligible for membership consideration, potential members are required to register for a 20-minute Kite Conversation with a Fraternity representative. Additionally, an invitation and attendance at Theta's preference event on Saturday, Sept. 19.

One-on-ones

Grab coffee, lunch, or take a walk around campus with us, and feel free to bring a friend. These casual conversations are a low-pressure meeting to ask questions, get to know Theta, talk through the recruitment process, and share a little more about yourself. Come as you are from class or whatever you have going on that day.

One-on-ones are highly encouraged for all potential members.

Meet current members, make new friends, and discover how Theta fosters a community built on friendship, leadership, and lifelong connection.

Kite Conversations

Register for a 20-minute Kite Conversation with a Fraternity representative. This is a chance for even more Theta representatives to get to know you and for you to learn more about Theta, including the values, expectations, and commitments of lifelong membership. This is more structured than a casual meet-up, and all these appointments will take place on campus. You will receive a confirmation email with location and additional details the day before your scheduled meeting.

Kite Conversations are required to be considered for membership.
